The Payette River Scenic Byway, a National Scenic Byway, travels through the county and leads to many great outdoor sights, activities and events. Cities in Valley County
McCall is the largest city in the county. The winter carnival and the county fair and rodeo in early August are both major events the city holds. The county seat of Cascade sits on Lake Cascade, a center for fishing and other lakeside activities. The other major towns in the county include Donnelly and High Valley. Both are smaller, more out of the way and better places to connection with the outdoors.
