The homes of Tustin, begun in 2007 and still under construction, tend to be between 1,500 and 2,500 square feet, though some are up to 3,700 square feet. The houses have three to five bedrooms with a three-car garage. The Meridian properties are mostly quarter-acre lots, though some are slightly less. Tustin is surrounded by other Meridian subdivisions.
Tustin has two common grass areas, one with a playground. If that isn’t enough space, the Charles F. McDevitt Youth Complex is near the Meridian houses in the area, complete with several baseball diamonds, a pond, a playground, and open space. If that’s still not enough, the Boise River and the Greenbelt are not far to the north. There you can walk, bike, fish, and float the river. Additionally, Eagle Island State Park is only a fifteen-minute drive away, with hiking, swimming, biking, horseback riding, and more.
Children in Tustin attend Prospect Elementary, the nearby Heritage Middle, and Rocky Mountain High School. However, as boundaries change frequently, parents should check the Meridian School District’s website.
