Many of the Eagle homes in the Shores are energy-efficient, making their splendor environmentally guilt-free.  Construction began in 2007 and is still going as of May 2012.  The Eagle homes are between 3,000 and 5,500 square feet, some on single levels, with three- to five-car garages and three to five bedrooms.  The properties are irrigated, and the majority are adjacent to the sixteen acres of water within The Shores.

Children in The Shores currently attend Andrus Elementary, Eagle Middle, and Eagle High School.  Because school boundaries frequently change, parents are encouraged to look them up on the Meridian School District website.  Additionally, alternatives such as the Galileo Math and Science Magnet School and North Star Public Charter School are not far away.
