Paramount was begun in 2005, and some construction is still going. The size of these Meridian homes, built on one-fifth acre lots, varies with the price--a home could be a bit under 2,000 square feet or over 4,000 square feet, with one or two stories. Most have three to five bedrooms with a two- to five-car garage.

The list of amenities for this Meridian neighborhood seems endless.There are currently two community heated pools and a clubhouse, complete with a kitchen, event room, and fitness room. There are plans for a second clubhouse to be built soon. Paramount also boasts numerous ponds with fountains, parks, pavilions, playgrounds, playfields, and volleyball courts. The neighborhood prizes itself on the involvement of its residents, with four leadership committees and several events throughout the year.

Children currently attend Paramount Elementary, Heritage Middle, and Rocky Mountain High School. All are either within the subdivision or right across the street. Additionally, the private Challenger School (preschool through eighth grade) is close by.
