These Meridian homes are usually between 1,500 and 2,500 square feet, though some go up to 3,700 square feet. Most have three or four bedrooms, with two- or three-car garages. The plots of land also vary widely, with some properties under one-tenth of an acre and some over one quarter of an acre. Construction began in the Meridian neighborhood in 2007 and is still going. Crossfield is surrounded by more Meridian subdivisions and some undeveloped land, making it a fairly quiet place to live.
Crossfield has its own park with a playground and community pool. It is also next to Tully Park, complete with playgrounds, baseball diamonds, and a skateboard park. Across the street from Crossfield is the larger Settler’s Park, which often hosts community events and boasts an interactive water feature, a pond, and more in addition to the playground and playfields. South of Crossfield is also the smaller, secluded 8th Street Park. Linder Road, right next to this Meridian subdivision, gives easy access to Eagle Island State Park, where you can find hiking, swimming, fishing, horseback riding, biking, and more.
Children in Crossfield currently attend Chief Joseph Elementary, Meridian Middle, and Meridian High School. However, as boundaries frequently change, parents are encouraged to check the Meridian School District’s website.
