The Knitting Factory, Get your Rock on!
With World-class performers, a fully stocked bar and a state of the art sound and lighting system, The Knitting Factory is one of the best concert halls in Boise, Idaho. Formerly known as The Big Easy Concert House the 1,000 capacity venue comes alive most nights of the week with shows featuring touring national acts, local bands, comedy evenings and DJ's spinning for dance club nights.
The live-action video system, including a giant monitor next to the stage and smaller monitors throughout, ensures you can always see what's happening on stage and be a part of the crowd. Food and drink is available during the shows and in the VIP Alterant Lounge, responsive designated servers are there for your every need.
Location and Hours
Close to downtown, you can find The Knitting Factory at 416 S 9th Street, Boise, Idaho 83702. Street parking is available. The Knitting Factory is close to some Boise real estate and condos for sale.
Admission
General admission is generally around $25 depending upon the show and is payable at the door. Reserved seating is available on-line at the website http://bo.knittingfactory.com/ where you can also pay the $65 to check-in to the VIP Alterknit Lounge which is for ages 21+ only.
Shows generally start at 8:00PM and the doors open an hour before the show. On show nights the VIP Alterknit Lounge opens at 5:00PM. The Knitting Factory accepts credit cards.
Private Events
The Knitting Factory is a one-of-a-kind event center and is available for rent for private parties, corporate events and other functions. The venue can accommodate up to 1,000 standing guests for hors d'oeuvres, or up to 350 for a seated, plated meal. With beautifully set up tables and chairs, the use of fine linens and decorations, superb in-house catering and live entertainment from DJ's, all events at The Knitting Factory are destined to be a success.
