img_6674_5_6_tonemapped_500Flashback to fifteen years ago, Meridian Idaho was a rural community near Boise without any significant development, full of fields growing a variety of crops. It didn't boast any major shopping attractions and residents largely had to go into Boise for fun restaurants, entertainment, and shopping. Meridian of 2012 is thriving; it's where the newest and most popular attractions in the Treasure Valley are located or are being built. When this is combined with Meridian's more affordable housing market and small community feel, you have hottest city in Idaho.

Business-Friendly Environment

Businesses new and old have taken note atMeridian Idaho and their impressive rise. On Eagle and Fairview, at the center of it all, Meridian is preparing for a huge boom in business with the opening of the Meridian Towne Center, featuring Chick-fil-a, Gordmans, Big Al's Bowling, and much more. Meridian has the city's go-to summer attraction: Roaring Springs Waterpark, and is now even offering what Boise doesn't have. Meridian's businesses include popular restaurants such as: Chili's, Red Robin, Fuddruckers, Krispy Kreme, Texas Roadhouse, and many well-loved local eateries. While Boise, Nampa, and other Idaho cities are growing, Meridian is clearly at the heart of all development in the Treasure Valley.
