Here are a few restaurants to get you started on your tasty journey!

Fiesta Guadalajara- This restaurant has many locations in the Treasure Valley, such as in Boise and Meridian. However, the one in Kuna is especially delicious and has a wonderful atmosphere. Located at 780 W. Avalon Street, this Mexican restaurant specializes in rich, and sometimes spicy, flavors. Some of their menu items include carne asada, Guadalajara burrito, different types of fajitas, carne asada tacos, tortilla chips (which not only come with salsa, but also a nice bean dip!), beef lengua burrito supreme, and the three item combo. All of their food items are made from scratch, the service is friendly, and there is even a buffet line if you don’t wish to order anything off the menu. Warning: the menu items are a bit pricey, so be prepared for that. The doors are open from 11am-9pm on Mondays through Thursdays, 11am-10pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and 11am-8pm on Sundays.

Enrique’s Mexican Restaurant- Yes, this is another Mexican restaurant on the menu. However, it boasts of being much better than Fiesta Guadalajara, so it should also be placed on this list (that way you can try out both and decide for yourself which is the tastier option!). Located at 482 W. Main Street, this trendy cantina is sure to give you classic Mexican food with a unique twist of flavors. Some of their menu items include: burrito chile verde, taco truck burrito, seafood chimichangas, a variety of famous tacos (such as asada, barbacoa, and tripitas), combination platters (such as enchilada and taco, chile relleno and tamales, and the famous el patron combo), and tasty desserts like flan, dulce de leche cheesecake, fried ice cream, churros, and so much more! Expect great service and mouthwatering food that will leave you wanting more (even though you will probably be taking a box home). The doors are open every day from 10am-10pm except for Sundays, which are open from 10am-9pm. Another pricey choice, but worth the visit!
