Spectacular concentrations of birds can be seen on the lake during peak migration periods. Shorebirds occur in large numbers in August when low water levels expose mudflats. Waterfowl occur in large numbers in fall and winter. The Snake River Islands Unit contains about 1200 acres on 101 islands from the Canyon-Ada County line in Idaho to Farewell Bend in Oregon.
Diamond T Guest Ranch - Guest ranch on 134 acres with all activities in the Clark Fork area. Enjoy fishing, hunting, horseback riding (close by), ATV trails, fire ring, huckleberry picking, yard games, cycling, playground, games, wildlife photography, hiking and more.
