The entire tour takes approximately three hours, begins with the Red Tail Canopy Tour (four lines), centers on the Wild Turkey Zip (1700 feet long), and ends with the Double Trouble Zip (it's a good idea to bring a friend as it is 1460 feet long and a dual line). Tamarack offers zip lining seven days a week, with three-and-a-half hour tours over eight zip lines throughout the Payette River Mountains. Safety is the tour guides #1 concern for all of their guests, and a weight range limit is placed for all their cables (75 – 270 lbs.). The tour begins at the Tamarack Resort in Tamarack, Idaho (102 miles north of Boise) Amenities include helmet, harness, and pulley system. The guides will provide lessons and support for all first-time and inexperienced zip liners. The guest to guide ratio is also small at just ten to one.
