Fishing is one of the oldest and most popular sports of all time. Fishing is an age-old sport that has attracted many a person to its whiles. A lot of people really like fishing and Idaho is one of the best places on the planet to get it done. There are lakes that you can cast your line out into and there are rivers that you can wander up and down searching for the best hold where the fish might be swimming along. But fishing is not as simple as you might think. It is not just throwing a bit of baited line into the water and waiting for the right time to yank on that line. There are many different kinds of fishing and some of them are not gone about in a way that you might necessarily expect. I would like to introduce you to the many different…

Idaho is a lovely state with so much to offer. There are so many people flocking to the state from all over these days. Idaho has been making headlines over the last few years on one of the best places to live in the United States. In fact, towards the end of 2017, Boise was named as one of the best state capitals to live in 2017. The reasons it was given the title of #8 on that list was due to Boise being the fourth lowest capital city in unemployment rate and the fourth lowest in property crime as well.

I think everyone has at least some fear when it comes to venomous animals and insects (And just to be clear, venomous means that when it bites you then you are poisoned. Poisonous means you are poisoned when you bite it) and others have an interest in these kinds of organisms, either because they are fascinated by something that can kill them with a single fang or for some other reason I cannot comprehend. Some people are terrified by spiders and some love having them around because they keep insects out. Some people are grossed out by snakes and others have them for pets and let them slither all around. The majority of people do not keep venomous pets whether they are spiders or snakes but there are certainly some who do. Idaho has its fair share of…

Hunting is one of the oldest practices that humanity has ever been engaged in. Very few people are still involved in it today, either because they do not need to be or because they find it distasteful, but there was a time where anyone who could not hunt or who could not rely on others to hunt was likely to starve and possibly even die. Since that time, more people hunt for the sport of it rather than because they need to, and the number of people who hunt in general are few. However, Idaho is one of the few places where there are still many that are involved in hunting. Some do so for both the excitement and for a unique and filling meal. Idaho is a somewhat wild place, at least when compared to other parts of the world, and there are few places as…

Music is one of the things that makes humans human. People feel strangely moved to dance to music whenever a good song comes on their music player and that is for a very good reason. Others travel across the country searching for new concerts and shows where they can hear the thing they love and escape a drearier life for just a little while. Idaho is not a place that is known for its music, but there are still a lot of options within the state that give you access to musical events and shows. If anything, Idaho is a place that inspires music. There are few better sources of inspiration than a swath of mountains laid out in front of you with snowy tips and tree-covered bases. If you are one of the many millions of people that have fallen in love with…

There are things that come along with turning your home into a business that are problematic and can cause you a lot of stress and can turn your fun side project into an all-consuming black hole that just sucks…

It can be hard to tell if the area you live in takes care of waste. Without doing a lot of research, it's almost impossible to figure out exactly what the city does with trash and other waste. You hope that it is taken care of responsibly and in a way that won’t cause harm to the environment or the people in the community, but is it really? Luckily, if you live in Boise or in the surrounding area, the local government is very open on where all of this waste goes! A look into the plans that Boise and the Treasure Valley have established will show that they really are making efforts to accomplish their goal of being friendly to the environment and keeping the community clean and safe.
