A lot of people who haven’t been to Idaho hear of its magic and assume it’s a fictional place full of wonder and fantasy. Well, believe it or not, Idaho is very real, and there are tons of awesome things about the Gem State that bring joy to its residents and those who visit. Not only are the residents typically among the nicest people you’ll ever meet, but the state also is full of beauty, with some of the best scenery in North America and even in the world, and there are many interesting quirks that make it a unique part of the United States!

Idaho can get some pretty cold temperatures in the winter, especially in the mountainous areas. Most of the time, with the cold, comes snow, which is the ideal canvas for those that love winter sports. Winter sports are a popular pass-time in Idaho. There are a lot of great winter sports destinations, as well as well as other non-sporty activities to do when the temperatures drop. Bogus Basin is an incredibly popular place to go for a day of winter sports in the Boise area. It makes for the ideal location because it is only minutes away from the Boise area. Idaho is a big place with a bunch of stuff going on in it all the time. Every state is like that, but every state is also unique in the activities available to you (with some crossover) and that means every state needs a little bit of a crash course on the different things you can do and how to get involved in them. One such thing is hunting, which certainly requires some introduction to participate in. Idaho has tons of hunting happening all throughout the year, regardless of the season. Is it winter?
