You will find newer neighborhoods with the average homes for sale being built in 2000 or later. You will find older stores that have been staples in neighborhoods for years and you will also find a vibrant and growing section around Glenwood with new shopping centers and businesses and restaurants. This area is home to many new single family dwellings as well as many new apartment complexes.

Located at 6515 W. State Street is the historic Plantation Country Club. This friendly, full service private club offers an outstanding golf course, as well as tennis and swimming amenities. With golf and social events planned throughout the year, members enjoy time with friends and families as they form memories that will last a lifetime.

Traveling just a short distance west on State Street, hungry tummies will find Merritt’s Country Cafe. Family owned for three generations, Merritt’s has been known to residents of this area as the home of the big scones. As one travels north on highway 55, farms and ranches are evidence of Idaho’s agricultural history. While neighborhoods of small lots creep outward, there are still many neighborhoods in this area with covenants of 5 acres or more per property.
