This rodeo is even in the top twelve best rodeos recognized by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. This rodeo is held for almost a week each year during the third week of July. So, be sure to stop in for some Wild West fun!
Some of the smaller towns and cities in Idaho sometimes don’t have hotels or motels to stay at when visitors come from out of town, but Nampa has plenty, and that includes South Nampa! So, if you have friends or acquaintances coming in town and you need to find them a place to stay, you will likely not have any trouble in this part of town thanks to the numerous amount of hotels, bed and breakfasts, and motels available.
Idaho is known for its pleasurable outdoor experiences, and you can take part in many of those in Southern Nampa as well. You can traverse the leisure paths at any of the aforementioned parks, you can go birdwatching and fishing, you can go swimming at local pools or try archery at Archery Central. You can take part in some fun indoor activities as well, such as catching a movie at one of the local cinemas or going through one of the museums, like the Canyon County Historical Nampa Train Depot Museum.
