The Eagle homes in Arbor Ridge are on quarter-acre plots, with pretty landscaping and many mature trees. The subdivision was built around the year 2007. The homes usually range from about 3,000 to 4,000 square feet, though it can be as little as 2,000 square feet, with three to five bedrooms and three-car garages.
Nearby attractions include Guerber Park, which borders Arbor Ridge to the south. There, you can find a playground with an interactive water feature, Little League facilities, open fields, picnic shelters, restrooms, and more. Also nearby is the Eagle Hills Golf Course. Arbor Ridge is within a short distance from downtown Eagle, which offers boutiques, restaurants, coffee houses, medical centers, parks and more. The Eagle neighborhood is also close to the edge of the city, where the foothills begin. They offer the opportunity to mountain bike, four-wheel, hike, and learn about the unique geology and ecology there in spectacular scenery. To the south is the Boise River and Greenbelt, which offers many recreational activities.
Though Arbor Ridge is conveniently located for access to these places, it is still not overly busy. Bordered by a subdivision, the golf course, empty land, and the field of Guerber Park, the neighborhood does not have the city noise or traffic another subdivision might, making it an easy place to relax.
Children in the area currently attend either the year-round Seven Oaks Elementary or the traditional-calendar Eagle Hills Elementary. Both are quite close to Arbor Ridge. Older children attend Eagle Middle and Eagle High School. However, as school boundaries frequently change, parents are encouraged to look up the information on the district’s website. Other options for schooling in the area include Rolling Hills Public Charter School, North Star Public Charter School, and the Galileo Math and Science Magnet School.
