The preliminary assembly of Boise real estate in Emmett, Idaho began between the years of 1910 and 1939 with at least 600 homes built. By the end of the 1960’s another 575 homes were constructed in the 83617 zip code area. During the 1970’s, Emmett’s largest construction of housing units occurred, with an increase of nearly 700 new homes. Over the next two decades, over 375 homes were built and by the year 2005 there was an additional 187 housing units constructed. Approximately 180 homes have been constructed subsequent to 2005.
