Boise Real Estate

If you are considering moving to Boise, Idaho and are wondering about the best way to find a job there, hopefully this will prove helpful. As Idaho's capital as well as its most populous city, it offers diverse employment possibilities, no matter what part of the Boise Valley you live in. You can live in Meridian, Eagle, Star, Nampa, Caldwell, or Kuna and hop on the freeway or a nearby highway and easily commute to most of these great employment opportunities.

There are many professional staffing and employment agencies in the city, some offering both temporary and permanent job placement. Just a few of these agencies include Gem State Staffing, Express Employment Professionals, Accountemps, Volt Technical, Professional Career Solutions and Adecco Staffing.

You may wish to go through the classifieds in the local newspapers, including The Idaho Statesman, The Idaho Press-Tribune, The Boise City News and the weekly alternative paper, Boise Weekly.

Some major employers in Boise include J.R. Simplot Company, Boise Cascade LLC, WinCo Foods, Clearwater Analytics, Idaho Timber, Idaho Pacific Lumber Company, and the BodyBuilding company's Website.  Among private employers which are publicly traded are Micron Technology, IDACORP Inc, Boise Inc, Idaho Bancorp, PCS Edventures Inc, Syringa Bancorp and American Ecology Corp.

The medical and education fields offer some excellent opportunities in the Boise area, so if either of those is "up your alley" be sure to investigate all pathways which are appropriately connected to the type of job you seek. With regard to careers in education, remember Boise State University and Idaho State University are right here, along with Brown Mackie College and Boise Bible College.

Boise has several call centers which employ over 7,000 people. Some of these centers are DIRECTV, Teleperformance, T-Mobile, EDS and WDSGlobal. So if you're good on the phone and enjoy this type of work, you have a number of options. (There are more than twenty call centers in Boise).

A variety of law enforcement career opportunities are available in Boise, including police officers, admin staff and corrections officers. So if you're a criminal justice grad, be sure to investigate those possibilities.

Not only is having a home in Boise an easy commute, but Idaho real estate in the surrounding areas provides plethora of options to choose from. Boise and the surrounding is a great place to live and work. Whatever your career, we wish you the very best. Good luck & welcome to Boise!
