We're getting down to the nitty gritty...cuttin' to the chase...going right to the good stuff, we're going to show you the best parts of Caldwell, Idaho's entertainment. Below are the top 5 Caldwell family events to 
dive into.

Fun at The ParkThe Caldwell Summer Kick-Off, previously known as the Friday Night Express, will take place on June 24. This celebration will present Too Slim and the Tail Draggars as well as Lee Mitchell. A concert and street dance will begin at the Train Depot at 7:00 p.m. A movie will be shown on the creek at dusk. In the event of bad weather the concert will be moved to the armory located at the intersection of Payner and Kimball. This free admission family event will include: vendor booths, downtown shopping, a kid's zone and a train depot interpretive center.

The Caldwell Night Rodeo will take place in August in Caldwell, Idaho. This fun family event has been nominated six times by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association as the Large Outdoor Rodeo of the Year. This rodeo was first organized in 1935. It is one of the best 20 professional rodeos in the country, attracting over 40,000 visitors during the five night event. This event is attended by the best rodeo cowboys.

The Canyon County Fair and Festival takes place in Caldwell, Idaho from July 28, 2011 to July 31, 2011. The Fair will offer concerts and fun family activities. The concerts are provided free of charge with a paid admission. Reserved seating is also available at an extra charge. The concert presenters include Joe Nichols, the Stealing Angels, Tracy Lawrence, Jacob Lyda, Kansas and Jo Dee Messina. The fun activities include: Pie eating contests, dance competitions, crafts, a rodeo, a WSSA Cowboy Mounted Shooters show, a Hogs 'n Mud Wrestling Contest, along with many other exciting carnival games and rides. General admission for people 13 and over is $5. Admission for children 6 to 12 years of age and seniors over 65 is $3. Children under 5 are admitted at no charge. There is a one price carnival ticket available for $30.
 
The 77th Annual Buckaroo Breakfast and Bazaar will be held from August 16 to August 19, 2011 at the CNR in the Simplot Stadium. The Buckaroo Breakfast will begin at 6:30 a.m. and run until 9:30 a.m. The cost of the breakfast is $5 which includes eggs, sausage, pancakes, juice and coffee. A variety of entertainment and children's activities will be offered. The Buckaroo Bazaar will take place from 5:00 to 11:00 p.m. The Bazaar vendors will offer boots, purses, hats, jewelery as well as a variety of food items.
 
Gorgeous Real Estate
The Caldwell Treasure Valley Night Light parade will take place on December 3rd, 2011. The theme of the parade is A Cartoon Christmas. This family event will include an open house sponsored by the Caldwell Fire Department where Santa comes to visit kids. Vendors will also be situated along the parade route. The parade will begin at 6:00 p.m. And will run from the intersection of Georgia and Blaine to Fifth Avenue.
