The Top 10 Idaho employers:
#1 – Micron Technology – Boise
With an employee base of 15,000, Micron Technology is the largest employer in Idaho. Their primary industry is the manufacturing of semiconductor devices and related equipment. They work with the related industries of marketing consulting services and other telecommunications.
#2 – US Air Force Base/Mountain Home Air Force Base – Mountain Home AFB
Both Air Force Bases currently employ a total of 10,231 civilians. Jobs vary around each base, but typically include engineering, repair, retail, food service, and technical positions.

I just read the other day how Idaho was benefiting from the agriculture sector with 3000 new jobs. Now I see that your biggest employers are technology companies, medical companies, and other diverse industries. Good job, Idaho!! The best economy is a diverse economy!
