into an island, the city relocated to higher ground. There are homes for sale
in Middleton with a wide range of ages. Most Middleton homes were built in the
1970s or later, with 26% of homes built in the 1990s. However there are a fair
few Middleton homes which are newer or more established, with nearly 10% built in 2005 or
later, and approximately 175 homes built before 1939.

Idaho was between $110,000 and $130,000. The estimated

expensive than the prices of Idaho
real estate in larger cities.
Neighborhoods & Parks
Middleton is host to a variety of parks, three of which are
owned by the city of Middleton and three of which are governed by the Greater Middleton
Parks and Recreation District. Middleton
Place Park
is a city park located in Middleton Place Subdivision, and offers various sports
facilities & other amenities, with much more planned for construction. Roadside
Park and Davis
Park are the two other city parks.
Both are attractive picnic spots, located on State Highway 44 and featuring
lovely views of Mill Slough Creek. The three parks not run by the city are Hawthorne
Park, the largest, Richard
Foote Park,
which is still under construction, and Payne
Park, which is adjacent to the
excellently-rated Middleton Heights
Elementary School.
Nearby Shopping
Middleton itself contains mostly small family stores and
knick-knack shops, however one need go no further than Caldwell,
a short 15 minute drive away, to find a variety of large stores, including
Kmart, Target, Big Lots and Kohl's. For the more intrepid shopper, a visit to Idaho's
capital, Boise takes only 20-30 minutes driving. Boise offers an
array of department stores and shopping centers sure to satisfy your needs.
