The single home units located in Filer have construction permits that date back
to 1996. However, most of these single home units have been built in the last
decade. The cost of these units increases with each year. The units constructed
in 1996 were a little less than 80,000 while the single unit homes that were
constructed in as recently as in 2009 are priced at over 130,000.
Home Values
The Median household income for 2007 was only an estimated 44,000 in 2009 as a
result the housing prices are a lot cheaper than those found in other areas of
the country. The median price for all houses in Filer, Idaho
in 2009 was about 135,500. Considering the fact that Filer’s unemployment rate
